Here is a collection of 66 trading cards created using imagery from the Artéfacts d’un printemps québécois Archive. Their role is to nourish discussions around an oppositional cultural heritage in preparation for the struggles ahead. The Printemps Érable (or Maple Spring) was a historic period of protest performance for the student movement that had a significant impact on Québec society. Although this period is behind us, the debriefing phase will last for years to come and these “Reaggregational Cards” can be added to materials that benefit the shared debriefing process. This process is important to help us understand what happened during and since the 2012 student strike and it is also important to nourish the oppositional consciousness that flourished during the more than 600 demonstrations, actions, occupations, general assemblies, etc.
