The people in the army barracks sorted me out, is it still there? they got me on a flight, to Uganda and medical treatment. I would love to return and see the place and somehow say thank you, lovely people. Congratulations on your arrival in Juba. I take it you are a journalist? For so many years the Sudan has been closed to travellers from the South. I am anxious to find out if river travel through the Sudd has been reopened. Last year I did a very long solo trip from Cape Town to Nairobi (via Northern Mocambique)in a Fiat Uno. I am keen to go all the way to Cairo, preferably through the southern sudan. Any news you may have that can further this ambition will be much appreciated. Best wishes Hi!
